Additional Restrictions (Discretionary) Grant Issue 2: Now Open for Applications
For certain types of businesses not eligible for the Business Rates based grants, a new Additional Restrictions (Discretionary) Grant Issue 2 to cover the impact of the Local and National Restrictions from 2 December – 15 February 2021 was launched on 1st February 2021.
The scheme will close to new applications at midday on 26 February 2021 or when the fund has been fully allocated, whichever occurs first.
ARG Issue 2 is a one-off payment in respect of the Local and National Restrictions from 2 December 2020 – 15 February 2021.
Businesses must able to demonstrate they have been severely impacted by the restrictions from 2 December 2020 – 15 February 2021 and operate within one of the following sectors, or in its immediate supply or service chain:
Businesses can only apply once for an Additional Restrictions (Discretionary) Grant Issue 2 but can apply if they received a grant from the Additional Restrictions (Discretionary) Grant Issue 1 (for 5 November to 2 December 2020).
There is no further support confirmed by Government for any period of restrictions after 15 February 2021. Should this change, we will update you via our website news page at hub.accountants
